01Are any features locked behind higher tiers?
No. Every plan includes the full ModelxcelPro feature set: Proof, Audit, Formula Intelligence, Visualization, Workbook Comparison, Name Conversion, and Formatting & Themes. You pick a buying path based on seats, procurement, and support needs — not on what the add-in can do.
02How does billing work?
Paid checkout is not open yet. Final pricing, billing cadence, and payment terms will be announced before checkout opens. Join the waitlist if you want to be notified when purchasing is available.
03Is there a free trial?
Trial access is handled during the phased launch. Join the waitlist and we will invite users as licensing, onboarding, and support capacity come online.
04Can I move my license between machines?
Individual starts with 2 active machines. Team and Enterprise buying paths support larger seat counts and machine activation management. Each .lic file is bound to the machine it is issued for, so moving to a new machine requires a new or rotated signed license for that machine.
05What about Excel for Mac?
ModelxcelPro is Windows-only. The desktop add-in is built on .NET Framework 4.8.1 (VSTO) which Excel for Mac doesn't support. We don't plan to port until a clean cross-platform path exists. If Mac support is critical, talk to us about Enterprise — we may have an alternative for specific workflows.
06Do you offer education pricing?
Yes — substantial discounts for verified academic institutions and registered students.

07How does Enterprise differ from Team?
Same product, every capability. Enterprise is the sales-assisted path for custom procurement, legal/security review, offline license delivery needs, and support expectations. We do not list Enterprise-only add-in features.
08When will paid plans launch?
We're in phased launch. Pricing and paid checkout will open only after the licensing, onboarding, support, and legal pieces are ready. Join the waitlist and we'll notify you before paid checkout opens.
